Coppertone Clearly Sheer Sunscreen Review

Let me start off by saying that I normally don’t take the time to write up a review on any product not related to my crafting obsession. Before I get into the review I want to get a disclaimer out there. As an authorized BzzAgent I was sent this product and coupons for free in exchange for my honest, personal opinion. If you would like to learn how to become a BzzAgent visit this website  www.bzzagent.com

As a BzzAgent, I was given the opportunity to try out Coppertone Clearly Sheer Sunscreen and I was super excited. It did take me a while to write this review cause I really wanted to give this product a real chance.  I’ve been using both of the samples for about a month and half now,and I have to say that I’m really liking this lightweight formula.

The first review is going to be on the Coppertone Clearly Sheer continuous spray sunscreen!  This one really amazed me.  I have tried other spray sunscreens and have not like them at all.  I LOVE this new formula! There is a light scent when you first spray. After that it is only noticeable if you actually sniff your skin, but it doesn't interfere with perfume or smell strong enough to detract from its quality. Almost instantly about 75% of the product sinks into the skin. It leaves a barely there, ever so slight glean to the skin. It does not feel wet or slick when it hits your skin like most spray sunscreens. As far as performance, it has worked well, it is SPF 50,and water resistant up to 80 mins.  Overall I really like Coppertone Clearly Sheer continuous spray sunscreen!

The next and last review is on the Coppertone Clearly Sheer sunscreen lotion.  First  off let me say that I love this Coppertone clearly sheer sunscreen. I am known to skip the sunscreen because I don't like the smell and I hate the oily feel it leaves on my skin. However this formula really did surprise me.    It’s definitely sheer and feels good on my skin. Coppertone clearly sheer absorbs fairly quickly into my skin. There is no icky sunscreen scent, but a light fresh scent. This lightweight formula leaves your skin soft and moisturized all day and best of all protected from the sun.  Another thing I really like is that it’s water resistant up to 80 minutes. I have been using Coppertone clearly sheer for about a month now and I’m happy to say that I’ve had no skin irritation or acne!  I’m extremely happy with Coppertone clearly sheer formula, that I have been recommending this product to everyone!  Thank Coppertone!

As I said before I was given this product for free but these are my true and honest opinions.  I really like this new lightweight formula.  And again here is another disclaimer.

Making your own enamel dots

A few weeks ago I had watch a YouTube video explaining how they were making their own enamel dots. At first I wasn’t going to watch the video because I thought they were using the Viva décor pens, but I decided to go ahead and watch the video anyways. I am really happy that I did decide to watch the video because I found a new way to make my own enameled dots. In this post it will be very picture heavy and I also have made a YouTube video explaining and showing the process of making your own enameled dots. I did not come up with this idea on my own, and there are plenty of other videos out there showing you how they make enameled dots, I just figured that for my subscribers and for my channel that I would make a video showing how I do it.

Before I get into the supplies that you will need, I want to take a brief moment here to explain the process and to give you a couple of tips. First off for this method you will be melting plastic beads in an oven. Any time that you melt plastic you generally get some kind of odor, my best suggestion for you is to make sure you are in a well-ventilated area, try having some fresh air coming into your work area. Now when I melted the beads there was a small amount of odor nothing overwhelming but needless to say it was still an odor. In my work area I did have a window open and after I had made a few batches I did have to turn the fan on just to help circulate some fresh air. Also you are going to be working with small beads so just use some common sense and not leave your beads lying around if you drop one pick it up especially if you have small children or pets. I have three miniature pinchers and I was constantly dropping little beads onto the floor and if I wasn’t quick enough to pick them up my dogs were trying to eat them.  And on a final do not leave your beads unintended in the oven; you don’t want to burn down your house making enamel dots. Okay now that I got that off my chest let’s go ahead and talk about the supplies that you’re going to need.
1.       A toaster oven or oven
2.       Parchment paper
3.       Pony beads or perler beads   these can be found at your local craft store

That’s it for the supplies this is a really easy process but the best thing I can say is to just experiment first because your oven made cook faster than my oven or vice versa.  Also pony beads come in different sizes the bigger the size and the bigger the enameled on your end up with. I’m going to be showing you pictures below of 9 mm, 7 mm, and 3 mm pony beads and perler beads which after melted and up to be about a 3 mm.

The directions are very simple for making these beads. For the pony beads I baked mine at 425 for 8 to 10 min.  For the perler beads I have been baking mine at 425 for 15 to 20 min. Now I do want to say I really like the pony beads the best and the only reason for that is that I get consistent results every time I baked them. The Perler beads I have not had consistent results with. It just seems like different colors once it melts at different times. If I could get consistent results than I would really like those beads better. So let’s go ahead and take a look at some of the pictures below and you can see the results that I had with the beads. Again I will include a link to my YouTube channel to watch the video on how I made these.

Okay up first is going to be the 9 mm pony beads, and with this bead here it is a translucent bead. Which means you can see through it. So for me in a way this is not a true enamel dot. But I do really love the way this turned out. I also compared all the sizing for the beads to a quarter so you can someone get a true sense of the size.

Next up is the 7 mm pony bead and I have to say I love the way these turned out, and I really like the size as well.

Up last for the pony beads is the 3 mm size. And I really like this size as well to they are nice and small and you could use them at a million different places.

Here are the perler beads, when they cook down they are about a 3 mm size as well. Like I said earlier I really wish I could get consistent results with these beads because they would be my favorites. But since I can’t get consistent results I would have to recommend going with the pony beads. Again this is just my own personal opinion.

My Word and Why.....

So it has taken me a long time to get this post up.  I decided back in December that I wanted to do one little word again for the year of 2014.   When I first sign up I was pondering between two words.  I just couldn't decided on which word was for me.  So for about a month I was just going with the two words and was trying to see which one fit  me.  It wasn't until 2 weeks ago that my word just come to me like a ton of bricks. Just like that.  There has been some family stuff going on with me,don't worry not all bad, and that is what helped me decide my word.  It was on January 25,2014 at 3am I was sitting at my dinner room table looking at someone who I haven't seen or talk to for more then 6 years that I just said to myself "Crystal just EMBRACE this and your life!"  So there you have it my word "EMBRACE"!

Why did I choose embrace?  There is a lot going on in my life all which is good but very hard to accept.  So instead of getting upset or leaving things bother me I decided to just embrace all the changes and roll with it.  I have been doing this for a couple of weeks and it seems to be working.  When things are getting a little rough I just say to myself "Crystal look at the bright side and just embrace this.  Things will all work out!"  I must say I'm really liking this word and I'm very excited to see where this journey is going to take me this year.

I know that I'm a little behind in the workshop for one little word, but it's going to be real easy to catch up.  I'm also planning on doing things that's not in the workshop to really help me own my word.  I'm not sure how much I will be posting on what is  in the class, but I plan to show a lot of the stuff that is not in the class.  I hope that makes sense.  If you would like to follow along go check out Ali Edwards One Little Word Class!

Usually when I make a post a try to include some pictures,I didn't have any for this post.  So I decided to include a picture I took of the first time I put my word onto paper.  Nothing fancy but it does have a little meaning for me. Thank you for takig the time out of your busy day to stop by and see what I'm up to.

A New Year and New Changes

First off let me start off saying I hope you all had a great New Year's!  It's been a while since I made a post or even did any type of crafting.  With the holidays and so much going on I really had no time for crafting and even if I did I just didn't feel like it. Sometimes you just lose your mojo, well at least for me.  I just wanted to give you a little update about whats going on with me.

First off this year I decided to participate in the One Little Word (OLW) class again this year.  I'm really hoping to do a post once or twice a month about my progress with my word.  So sometime this week I should be putting up a post about OLW.

The next thing on my list is my blog!  I decided this week to start making some changes on my blog.  So I've been making some changes slowly.  If you happened to stop by and it just doesn't look right I'm probably messing with it.  I've been wanting to learn a little about html and css coding in order to make my blog a little more personal.  So far so good I had made some changes already this week and I'm really like the way it starting to look. Now since I'm making all these cosmetic changes I hoping to start posting on a more regular basis.  No promise on that, but I'm really hoping to!  I had a couple of ideas floating around I just haven't committed to any just yet.  If you stop and I haven't posted in a while check out my YouTube channel.  A lot of times it so much easier for me to make a video and upload it to YouTube.

So that pretty much sums up everything for me.  Again I should be posting something about OLW later this week.  If you interested in finding out some more info about One Little Word click HERE to go check out Ali blog!  If you want click on my social media icons at the top of my blog to follow me socially!  Until next time have a wonderful day!
