Just because........

Hi everyone and welcome to today’s card! I made this card to participate in the Simon says stamp challenge called Simon says choose a sketch. Below is a picture of sketch 2 which I chose to use for this card.

I figured that since I was participating in this challenge for Simon says stamp, that it was fitting that I use my March card kits from Simon says stamp. This card is a 4 x 4 card with a white base, the pattern paper is from Lawn fawn-called Daphne’s closet. The stamp set is called flower friends and it was the stamp set included in the card kit.  The sentiment was stamp out using versa fine onyx black ink, the flowers and dots were stamp out using hero arts shadow inks in charcoal, bubblegum, orange soda, the blue is a neon blue from the hero arts neon collection.

For the inside of the card I went along with the same layout as the front of the card. I did not add a sentiments to the inside, I figured I could add that whenever I needed to use this card.

Happy Mail Card

Who doesn't love happy mail! So I made this card about a month ago for a giveaway that I had hosted on my YouTube channel. I was initially planning on posting a video with this card, but I had figured that it’s been a while, and quite frankly I just do not have the time to edit the video. I decided to just go ahead and post this on my blog and just include the pictures. Like I said this was for a giveaway and the lucky winner was Sunni-her YouTube name is siksun2012. I don’t have the card in hand anymore, so I’m going by memory for what I used for the card. I know that this card was bigger than and A2, going by memory-believe it w 5.25 x 5.75.  The paper line I used was prima, and the Madeline collection.  The image is from tiddlyinks and is called happy mail clear stamp set. I color the girl in with my copic markers, I have a picture below that states all the colors I had use. Her dress and shoes were paper pieced with the same collection of papers from Prima. I had also uses Stickles on her shoes, and used a spellbinders die to help create the focal point of the card. Wanna hang out

For card again I had used my February Simon says stamp monthly card.  Once again I decided to make a traditional A2 size card. If you would like to watch the video I’m going to include below, it will walk you through step-by-step on how I made this card. When making this card I used everything in the car kit except for the inks.  I had also used my corner chomper  to round all the corners on this card. Sympathy Card

Here is my very first sympathy card!  I made this card using my Simon Says Stamp Card Kit.  This card kit was from the of Month FEBRUARY 2013 called STYLE OF LOVE.  When I received this kit I was very excited to use it.  I really, really like this kit.  However I found it very hard to create with.  Normally when I get these kits I try to use what in the kits and nothing else.  Except for things like ink, adhesives, etc.  For this card I did use a piece of vellum, and a stamp set from Kaiser craft that was not included in the kit.   I am really happy with this card,I think it turned out good.  If you want to watch the processed video of me putting the card together I will put it below of you can check out my you tube channel under my name Crystal Shipley. I am also going to include a link to the card kit.Simon Says Stamp Card Kit of the Month FEBRUARY 2013 STYLE OF LOVE Thank you so much and until next time Bye!!!!!
